Rizvi went on to establish a direct link between the government and the convicted MP, Mohammad Shahid Islam, underlining that engaging in fraudulent activities of such magnitude would not be possible without the implicit support and patronage of the government. Furthermore, the BNP leader shed light on the recent elections in Chattogram City Corporation, revealing that over 78% of voters had boycotted the electoral process. This substantial voter boycott was presented as a clear indication of public dissatisfaction and disapproval of the prevailing political climate under the Awami League government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The press conference, attended by central leaders of the BNP, including Sahida Rafique, Abul Khayer Bhuiyan, and Abdus Salam Azad, showcased a unified stance against what the party perceives as systemic issues plaguing the nation under the current administration.
