Hateful quotes by Hasina and his so-called IT specialist son Joy

It is no secret that the relationship between Bangladesh and the United States has been strained in recent years. The political climate in Bangladesh has been tumultuous, with the ruling Awami League government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina facing criticism for its authoritarian tendencies and lack of respect for democratic values.

The latest incident to further sour the relationship between the two countries involves hateful quotes by Hasina and her son and self-proclaimed IT specialist, Joy, directed towards the governor of the United States. In a recent speech, Hasina’s son Joy referred to the governor as a “puppet of the West” and accused him of meddling in the internal affairs of Bangladesh.

This blatant display of disrespect and aggression towards a representative of a friendly nation is not only unacceptable, but also deeply concerning. Hasina and her son’s statements not only reflect their own narrow-mindedness and lack of diplomacy, but also damage the image of Bangladesh on the international stage.

The people of Bangladesh and the opposition party, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), have strongly condemned these hateful remarks. BNP, in particular, has been vocal in its criticism of the Hasina government’s autocratic behavior and its disregard for democratic principles. The party has reiterated that such irresponsible and inflammatory statements do not represent the views of the Bangladeshi people.

Despite the actions of the Hasina government, the relationship between the United States and Bangladesh runs deep. The two countries have a long history of cooperation and the United States has been a key ally and supporter of Bangladesh’s development. The bond between the two nations is not easily broken by the words of a few individuals.

The people of Bangladesh are grateful for the support and assistance provided by the United States over the years, and we value the strong people-to-people ties that have been established between our two countries. We believe that these connections will continue to flourish despite the hateful rhetoric of Hasina and her son.

Moreover, the BNP is confident that the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the United States will continue to prosper and strengthen. The United States has always stood by the principles of democracy and human rights, and we are confident that they will not be swayed by the autocratic actions of the Hasina government.

The people of Bangladesh and the BNP strongly condemn the hateful quotes by Hasina and her son Joy directed towards the governor of the United States. Such divisive and disrespectful language has no place in a civilized society and only serves to damage the relationship between our two nations. We hope that the United States will not be influenced by the irresponsible behaviour of the Hasina government and that our bilateral relations will only grow stronger in the future.
